The Nip Tuck Quote, The Globe Unlitxt, and The Ex (January 8, 2008)

All these years I thought I've had enough love quotes to last me a century until Nip Tuckcame across. No I am not a big fan to begin with. Yes the show is so gay but that is beside the point. I was browsing the TV yesterday afternoon when suddenly I stopped at 2nd Avenue seeing a Nip Tuck ad with two guys fighting for their love. Awww so sweet but what really caught my nuts was hearing a line and it goes "You don't choose who to love. Love chooses you."

In less than two minutes I found myself forwarding the quote to all Globe subscribers I know to take advantage of their unlimited texting promo( I have cruel words to convey about that promo but let me save it for the future. Remember two years they had this enormous billboard along EDSA for the whole Manila to know that it's gonna be forever? Tsk tsk tsk).


Where am I?


Going back, I got instant reply from several friends. Two responses made my day: Karl, my hotshot org brother in college, replied with another quote from Maging Sino Ka Man "Kung mang-aahas ka lang, galingan mo na" (Rosanna Roces to Angelica Panganiban), which is in no way connected with the Nip Tuck quote I sent, and my ex, who messaged me this way "P%*#^@ i$@ Mo! G*n&go mo ko!" That explains the quote. We don't choose who to love. Love chooses us.
